Fresno, CA (October 26, 2009) On Monday, October 26, 2009 Councilmember Henry T. Perea will travel to Sacramento to join the Latino Water Coalition in a continued effort to support a comprehensive water reform package that is anticipated to be voted on later this week. Perea has spent much of the year lobbying for water policy and drought relief for the central valley and will continue to work for a comprehensive and sustainable water package from Sacramento.

“This is a huge issue and it needs our continued attention. A new water package will determine the future of California and I am dedicated to making sure that the central valley is represented and our way of life protected.”
