Eaton Plaza

Eaton Plaza is a project in progress that will serve to beautify downtown and establish a much needed green space in the heart of office buildings that house Federal, County and City employees. Originally included in the 1966 master plan for downtown, Eaton Plaza will finally fulfill its original intention – a multi-use park for the entire community.  In August of 2006, PARCS held a grand opening ceremony for Phase I completion of an open-air amphitheater which is now home to Movies in the Park!

Universally Accessible Park

PARCS has launched plans to develop a seven acre park with a unique universally accessible design. Through this design, it will be possible for all citizens, disabled and able-bodied, to recreate together.  The park, located in West/Central Fresno, will feature a one-of-a-kind universally accessible design that combines a Miracle League baseball field with a Shane’s Inspiration tot-lot, a universally accessible skate park and water world splash pad.

There are a number of different opportunities to support the success of this project.  Please contact 559-621-2900 today!

Todd Beamer Park

PARCS will construct a neighborhood park located at Maple and Plymouth Avenues across the street from Copper Hills Elementary School on a 6.9 acre parcel of land. The park is being dedicated to an American hero of September 11th, Todd Beamer. The former Fresno State baseball player is known for his historic “let’s roll” exclamation in the face of the Flight 93 hijacking.

The park will feature a children’s play area, walking paths, picnic shelter, turf play area, softball/soccer field, a concrete skate park, water splash/play area, dog park, restrooms, on-site parking and irrigation and landscaping.
