Recreation and Sports
One of the main functions of the Parks, Recreation and Community Services Department is to offer the public not only the park or facility for general recreation and leisure, but also to provide the public with recreation programs and activities.
Recreation
Fresno citizens can benefit and participate from numerous activities and programs offered by PRCS for little or no cost. Recreational programs are offered for youth, adults and older adults that range from fun activities, crafts, after school enrichment recreation and summer camps. Sports
Various sports programs are offered throughout to the community for youth and adults that include bitty baseball and karate, youth basketball and soccer, and aquatics.
The Adult Sports Program is a year-round fee-based men’s and women’s organized sports league offered to residents. Leagues include baseball, softball, basketball, flag football and soccer.
