Homebuyer Assistance Programs
THERE CURRENTLY IS NO FUNDING AVAILABLE FOR THE HOMEBUYER ASSISTANCE PROGRAMS. PENDING A STATE OF CALIFORNIA FUNDING AWARD, THE HOMEBUYER PROGRAM MAY BE REINSTATED IN THE JULY 2009 TO JUNE 2010 FISCAL YEAR. PLEASE CONTACT THE HOUSING AND COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT OFFICE AT THAT TIME TO VERIFY FUNDING AVAILABILITY.
The City of Fresno administers two first time homebuyer's assistance programs.
The CalHome Mortgage Assistance Program helps low-income families purchase their first home anywhere within the City of Fresno (excluding County islands) and is funded with State of California CalHome Program funds.
The Home Buyer Assistance Program also helps low-income families purchase their first home anywhere within the City of Fresno (excluding County islands) and is funded with U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development HOME Program funds.
