Water Conservation
Save Water, Save Money
The City of Fresno Water Conservation Program has been actively promoting activities that lower water demand in the community since about 1981. Water conservation is a key tool in managing water shortages. The City of Fresno depends on water resulting from conservation as a part of its water supply.
The more water we use, the more water we must treat and deliver. Our power costs increase as we pump more water. More water use means higher water and sewer rates. Everyone's conservation efforts are crucial to limiting water and wastewater rate increases. We all pay for wasted water.
